44 jobs go at Carroll's

FORTY FOUR jobs will be lost today, Wednesday, when Carroll's System Buildings of Ballintaggart shuts down. The redundant workers are set to receive statutory redundancy. However, as it had been recomended that each should receive two extra weeks for every year worked, there will be ongoing protests at the plant until this is honoured. The factory is set to remain open as a depot.
