Open pool to our homeless, says Anne

Dear Kilkenny Voice,

Nightly in Kilkenny, I see our homeless walking our streets. This is at the same time as our old swimming pool in Michael Street is lying idle.

Through the milk of human kindness, could our Borough Council not make this building available to the less well off, to rest their weary bodies at night?

Perhaps we could get voluntary workers to be available to help out if the facility could be put to this human use.
