A pool of talent

A MAJOR pool league was launched in Kilkenny last night. The Bud Light League will have 29 teams from all over Kilkenny City and County and games will be played on a home and away basis. First games in the four divisions will be played on March 9.

Among the beneficiaries from the league will be the Zara Aylward Fund, a project to help with surgery for a 14-month-old South Kilkenny girl who undergoes an operation at Great Ormonde Street Hospital, London in the coming weeks.
