KILKENNY outfit Von Bizmark recently launched their new single ‘London’. The first run of the single proved so popular that it sold out and the band had to get a new pressing done.

The local rockers have been touring steadily over the past year, building up their fan base and gaining wider visibility throughout Ireland and England. The frequent long slog of their weekend trips to London giving them the inspiration for the track ‘London’.

They’ve just completed the music video for ‘London’ which follows the group as they embark on a long session of travelling from gig to gig. The performance part of the video was shot in the newly refurbished Cleere’s Theatre, which like the band themselves, is looking pretty striking in monochrome.

The video was made by local production outfit Mycrofilms who have previously made promo videos for Itchy Trigger Finger, My Pet Jeep and Saving J. They currently have new videos in the works for new singles from The River Valley Band, Sandmann and Saving J. ‘London’ can be downloaded on iTunes and is also available in Tower Records and Heartbeat City outlets around the country. The lads are currently prepping their new single and lining up tour dates for an autumn outing. As part of that, they’ll be playing in Kilkenny on September 12 when they take to the stage of The Pumphouse.
